Dolce Jewellery are made of 925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is composed of 92.5% silver, with the remainder made up of other metals. This is why sterling silver is commonly referred to as 925 sterling silver or simply 925 silver.
Why should silver be combined with other metals? Because pure silver (99% silver) is very soft and malleable, it is not suitable for setting other materials such as CZ diamonds.
Some hardness must be introduced by adding other metals. This is why jewelers are able to create the most complex creations with 925 sterling silver.
Jewelry Care Tips:
- Avoid contact with liquids such as water, sweat, and cosmetics.
- Do not wear your jewelry while showering, bathing, swimming, sleeping, or exercising.
- Due to oxidation, the surface of the silver will turn black. This is a natural phenomenon for silver jewelry, not discoloration. Brushing it with a silver polishing cloth or a bar will restore its shine.
- Please wear your jewelry with care; do not rub it or drop it from a great height.
- Do not expose it to the air for long periods of time. When not wearing it, please place it in a sealed bag or box.
